Nachhaltige Rebsorten

Seit den 1970er Jahren sind wir im Wilhelmshof, vor allem durch Seniorchef Herbert Roth, nachhaltigkeitsgetrieben. Die Thesen des Club of Rome haben ihn früh fasziniert und nicht mehr losgelassen. Seit dem Studium beschäftigen auch wir, die jüngere Generation, uns mit Bio-Weinbau, stellten den Wilhelmshof auf Bio um und ahnten bereits, dass es ohne neue, zukunftsfähige Rebsorten nicht geht. Nach dreißigjähriger Forschung in der Schweiz konnte unser Pfälzer Rebenzüchter Volker Freytag uns eine zukunftsfähige, sehr widerstandsfähige Rebsorte, den Cabernet Blanc züchten. Das Fantastische an dieser Rebsorte ist, dass es nachhaltiger und biologischer nicht geht: Die Cabernet Blanc Rebe ist dreifach resistent gegen die Mehltaukrankheiten. Viel weniger Traktorfahrten und nahezu kein Pflanzenschutz sind mehr nötig. Testen Sie selbst die erste, limitierte Edition dieser Zukunftsrebsorte!
