Unsere Weinberge

Vom Queichtal zum Sonnenschein

Vom kühlen Grund des Queichtals bis hinauf auf die Hügelrücken des Haardtgebirges findet man rund um Siebeldingen völlig unterschiedliche Böden. Durch die tektonischen Verwerfungen des Rheingrabens kamen gerade in dieser Gegend uralte Gesteins- und Sedimentschichten zu Tage und bilden heute einen weltweit einzigartigen Grund und Boden für unsere Weinberge. Jeder Boden verleiht unseren Weinen seinen individuellen Charakter. Ob gelber Buntsandstein, Rotliegendes oder Muschelkalk: Hier finden sowohl unsere Riesling- als auch Burgunderreben die perfekten Bedingungen. Zugleich profitieren wir hier in Siebeldingen von einem ganz besonders günstigen Klima mit einer großen Temperaturamplitude: kühle Nächte folgen auf heiße Tage – das heißt für unsere Weine: reife Fruchtsäuren, spannende Vielschichtigkeit und Langlebigkeit.

Riesling und Burgunder: das sind unsere beiden wichtigsten Rebsorten. Daraus entstehen hier auf unseren Böden ausdrucksstarke Weißweine, Rotweine und Winzersekte.

An keinem anderen Ort auf der Welt existiert eine derartige Schichtung von speziellen Gesteinen und Erden. Diese geologische Besonderheit macht unsere Weine einzigartig.

Im Sonnenschein, Münzberg und Petersbuckel ( Kleinlage der Kalkgrube) sind unsere drei Lagen. Aus diesen Lagen kommen ganz individuelle Weine, so unterschiedlich wie Sonne und Mond.
