Um noch mehr Aromen aus den Beerenhäuten heraus zu lösen, entschieden wir uns für eine Maischestandzeit von 24 Stunden (über Nacht) nach dem Entfernen der Stielgerüste, dem Entrappen.

Wir sind gespannt auf seine Entwicklung, es ist unser erster Jahrgang dieser „Zukunftsrebsorte“.

Rebsorte

Diese nachhaltige Rebsorte wurde vom Schweizer Rebenzüchter Valentin Blattner 1991 aus Cabernet Sauvignon und unbekannten Resistenz-Partnern gezüchtet und in der Rebschule Freytag in Neustadt/W. selektiert. Die Rebe ist extrem widerstandsfähig gegen Frost, Botrytis, beide Mehltauarten, neigt zu kleinen Beeren.

Anbau und Ertrag

Diese junge nachhaltige Rebsorte ist so krankheitsresistent, dass der Pflanzenschutz um 80 % geringer ist als bei den altbekannten Rebsorten. Noch ökologischer und nachhaltiger geht nicht.

Wie bei allen Wilhelmshof Weinen, ist uns die aufwändige und nachhaltige Boden- und Laubwandpflege, Trauben teilen, ausdünnen, u.v.m. sehr wichtig.
