Sorgfältig ausgelesene, absolut gesunde, hochreife Spätburgundertrauben aus unseren Siebeldinger Weinbergen mit geringem Behang sind die Grundlage dieses feinen, traditionell maischevergoren Spätburgunders. 18 Monate im Holzfass und gebrauchten Barriques gereift.

 

Der Spätburgunder ist die Diva der Rotweinrebsorten und macht 30% unserer Anbaufläche aus. Der Muschelkalk gehört geologisch in die älteste Periode des Erdmittelalters (Mesozoikum) vor 251,9 bis ca. 201,3 Millionen Jahren. Die im Germanischen Becken typische Dreiteilung Buntsandstein, Muschelkalk und Keuper führten zu dem Namen Trias.
