Gesunde, hochreife Trauben wurden nach einer kurzen Maischestandzeit von vier Stunden gekeltert. Der Ausbau im Pfälzer Halbstückfass (600 L), erfolgte in der siebten Belegung.

 

Die auf Muschelkalk (25% Kalkgehalt) gepflanzten Reben beanspruchen gute, warme Lagen um als Wein ihr Bukett entfalten zu können.
Die Alten Reben wurden vor mehr als 40 Jahren gepflanzt.
