Nicole Metzger zählt zu den großen Sängerinnen des deutschen Jazz. Swing-Blues- und Soulmusik liegen ihr im Blut und am Herzen. Ihre Stimme ist facettenreich und mit einem Wort nicht zu beschreiben.

Sie reicht von bluesig bis soulig, sie ist klar, wandlungsfähig, vielfältig und mit schwarzer Färbung. Die Sängerin beherrscht den Scatgesang meisterhaft, jongliert mit dem melodischen Material und sorgt bei ihren Zuhörern immer wieder für Gänsehaut. Sie tritt mit ihrem hochkarätigen Trio auf und wird von Jean-Yves Jung am E-Piano, Rudi Engel am Kontrabass und dem Schlagzeuger Erwin Ditzner begleitet. Den vier Künstlern ist es wichtig, sich gegenseitig Raum für Atmosphäre und Inspiration zu lassen, um so aus dem Moment heraus für ihre Songs immer wieder neue Ausdrucksformen und Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten zu finden.
